Laurie Litster-Frost

Founder, Attorney

Laurie Litster Frost is a shareholder and the founding member of Litster Frost Injury Lawyers here in Idaho. She received a Juris Doctor degree from the Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark Law School in 2006 as a returning student.

Laurie returned to her hometown of Boise to work in personal injury law. She has served as a principal attorney in the Litster Frost Small Lawsuit Resolution litigation division. Laurie manages the Mass Torts division at Litster Frost, serving clients who have suffered injury from defective medical products and devices. Laurie is fluent in Spanish, having learned as a volunteer missionary in Chile, from 1967 to 1969. She served as a Maricopa County, Arizona court interpreter while studying at Arizona State University.

She is a mother to two daughters and six sons and is grandmother to thirty-one. Laurie was born in Reno, Nevada, and is the eldest of eight siblings. She moved to Boise in 1958 and graduated from Boise High School in 1963. She and her late husband S. Gibbons Frost, an attorney from Navajo County, Arizona, raised their children on a family homestead ranch.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Laurie was elected to the Show Low, Arizona School Board in 2002. She has served as At Large Council Member in the Diversity Section of the Idaho State Bar. She is a member of Idaho Women Lawyers and of the Idaho Legal History Society. Laurie was secretary of ConSource, The Constitutional Sources Project in 2005 and researched and photographed original documents in the Library of Congress. Laurie has served as a Boy Scout and Cub Scout leader and as president of local women’s and young women organizations.

She has been a volunteer pianist, organist, choir director, and seamstress in musical activities and productions. Laurie is involved with the Boise immigrant community in recreational and educational activities. She enjoys traveling to visit family who live in various time zones and countries.
