Nathan R. Starnes is a passionate about preserving the rights of personal injury victims in Idaho. Nathan has experience dealing with insurance companies because he used to represent them before he chose to become 100% devoted to helping people insured through no fault of their own. Nathan helps people who never asked to be injured, and in many cases, have had their whole lives changed, to receive fair compensation from the responsible party.
Beyond helping the individual clients that he represents, he also have a firm belief that the work our firm does makes the community safer. Whether it be punishing dangerous conduct like texting while driving, ensuring that dangerous products are made safer, or changing a businesses’ irresponsible policies and procedures, the results our firm gets, can make a real difference on how people and businesses behave, making the community safer as a result.
Nathan graduated from Gonzaga University School of Law with Honors. Following graduation from law school, Nathan worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Darla Williamson of the Fourth Judicial District in Ada County, Idaho. The first eleven years of his career, Nathan worked as an insurance defense attorney. This gave him deep insight into how insurance companies and their legal teams defend, evaluate, and eventually try or settle cases. Ultimately unsatisfied with working for the insurance companies against consumers, Nathan devoted his practice to personal injury victims. Now he uses his knowledge of insurance defense strategies and tactics to fight for his clients more efficiently and aggressively.
Nathan is admitted to practice law in all courts in the State of Idaho, including the United States District Court and the Ninth Circuit of Appeals. Nathan is also admitted to practice law in the State of Utah.
Nathan works with clients in personal injury, employment, nursing home abuse, and medical malpractice.
Nathan and his wife are the proud parents of five extremely active children. In his spare time, Nathan enjoys coaching youth basketball, boating, golf, and cycling. He also reads, speak and writes Spanish fluently.
